LMI AB has received an order worth approximately 50 million kronor from the U.S. materials technology company Intalus Tech. The contract involves the development and delivery of an advanced laser-based surface modification system and is one of the largest deals in the company\u2019s history.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under this project, LMI AB will develop, design, and deliver a complete production facility based on advanced laser technology, automation, and process control. The system will be used for surface modification of materials and components that must meet high standards for performance, durability, and quality. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For LMI AB, the deal represents an important step in the company\u2019s continued growth and a confirmation of the international demand for advanced Swedish laser technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBeing entrusted with delivering a project of this scale to a U.S. high-tech company is very gratifying. It is clear recognition of the expertise and experience within our team and of the competitiveness of Swedish engineering on the international market,\u201d says Timothy Hamblin Smith, CEO of LMI AB. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Intalus Tech is a U.S.-based advanced materials technology company that develops innovative material solutions by integrating ceramic materials into metal structures for extreme and demanding applications. The company\u2019s technology is used in several high-tech industries where requirements for wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and temperature resistance are critical. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project will be carried out at LMI AB\u2019s facility in N\u00e5s, Dalarna, where the company\u2019s expertise in laser processes, automation, and system integration is brought together under one roof.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are seeing continued strong global demand for advanced laser-based production solutions.
