Laser machining, (Lmi), and Ipg photonics have entered into a cooperation agreement where Lmi will take care of Ipg's service and repairs of laser systems in Sweden.

Two technicians from Laser Machining are training with the German company Ipg photonics to become fully qualified service technicians. They will handle all service and all repairs in Sweden on Ipg's behalf. A warehouse of Ipg components will also be on site at Lmi in Nås, Dalarna. This means that customers in Sweden will receive significantly faster service as technicians will always be on site in Sweden.
