On 13–14 April 2026, the Laser Group will gather at LMI AB in Dalarna, Sweden, for Laser Safety Meeting Part III. The purpose is to take the next step in developing common guidelines and recommendations for laser safety within Swedish industry.

The Laser Group’s work now continues with a third working meeting where industry stakeholders gather to finalize priority issues related to laser safety. During the meeting, participants will discuss topics such as training guidelines, daily supervision, incident analysis and industry-wide recommendations.

The ambition is to develop proposals that contribute to a more structured and quality-assured approach to laser safety in Swedish industry, while also providing a basis for continued dialogue with authorities and international stakeholders.

The meeting will take place at LMI AB in Dalarna and represents an important step in the Laser Group’s ongoing efforts to strengthen safety practices related to industrial laser technology.
