IPG LightWELD 100LW – Laser Welding Helmet

IPG LightWELD 100LW – Laser Welding Helmet for LightWELD

IPG LightWELD 100LW is a laser welding helmet specifically designed for operators using IPG LightWELD handheld laser welding systems. It combines laser protection with a lightweight and ergonomic design developed for improved comfort during extended periods of use.

The 100LW features an auto-darkening filter with five operating modes and is designed to protect the user against the specific hazards associated with handheld laser welding.

Designed for LightWELD

Unlike a conventional welding helmet, the LightWELD 100LW is manufactured using protective materials specifically intended for laser welding. IPG states that the helmet provides protection against direct laser exposure as well as reflected and scattered laser energy.

The helmet also provides protection against UV, IR and blue light and is EN 207 compliant.

Five-Mode Auto-Darkening Filter

The LightWELD 100LW features an auto-darkening filter with five operating modes. Filter sensitivity can be adjusted for different workplace conditions and non-welding activities, then easily returned to an appropriate setting for welding.

Lightweight and Ergonomic Design

The 100LW has been developed with a strong focus on low weight and ergonomics. Its lightweight construction helps reduce strain on the neck and head, improving operator comfort during longer working periods.

An adjustable and replaceable sweatband provides additional comfort and allows the helmet to be easily adapted to the individual operator.

Laser Safety Glasses Must Be Worn with the Helmet
