XXXL Dolphin Laser Safety Cell – flexible large-format laser safety enclosure
XXXL Dolphin Laser Safety Cell from Lasermet is a large, modular curtain-based laser safety enclosure designed for industrial laser installations where a larger protected working area is required.
The system combines Lasermet’s Dolphin Laser Blocking Curtains with a self-configurable frame and integrated interlock system. The result is a flexible safety solution that can be adapted to different floor areas and production requirements.
Large and flexible laser safety cell
XXXL Dolphin Laser Safety Cell is designed for applications where a smaller enclosure does not provide sufficient working space. Its modular construction makes it possible to increase or reduce the size of the cell depending on the requirements of the installation.

Rapid assembly
The system is designed for quick installation. Lasermet states that the cell can be assembled from its shipping crate into a complete structure in less than 30 minutes.
The frame uses a Camlock construction that enables fast and secure assembly without the need for extensive tools.
Dolphin Laser Blocking Curtains
The cell uses Lasermet’s Dolphin Laser Blocking Curtains as a protective barrier against unwanted laser radiation.
The curtain-based construction makes it possible to create a large protected working area while providing considerably more flexibility than a permanent wall-based laser safety cell.
Self-configurable size
One of the key features of the XXXL Dolphin Laser Safety Cell is the ability to adapt the size of the cell to the available space and the specific application.
The structure can be expanded or reduced as requirements change, making it particularly suitable for production environments where machines, fixtures or working areas may change over time.
Integrated interlock system
XXXL Dolphin Laser Safety Cell is supplied with Lasermet’s PL e interlock system based on the ICS-7-OEM.
The interlock system allows access points and safety functions within the cell to be connected to the laser installation, helping to prevent laser operation when the required safety conditions are not met.
For larger industrial laser installations
XXXL Dolphin Laser Safety Cell is particularly suitable when a larger laser working area needs to be enclosed but a permanent wall-based laser cell is not the most practical solution.
