Lasermet LED Mini Signs – LED Laser Warning Signs
Lasermet LED Mini Signs are compact illuminated warning signs designed to provide clear status indication around laser installations. They can be installed at entrances to laser cells, laser controlled areas, laboratories and other environments where the current safety status needs to be immediately visible.
LED Mini Signs are available with either one or two messages and can be customised with different wording and symbols. Their compact design makes them particularly suitable for locations where installation space is limited.
Secret-When-Lit Display
The signs use a secret-when-lit design. When the sign is not activated, the message remains hidden. When illuminated, the required wording and symbols become clearly visible.
This provides a clean installation while ensuring that relevant safety information is clearly displayed when required.
Single or Dual Message
LED Mini Signs are available in two main configurations:
- 1-way: one illuminated message, normally with an amber/yellow display
- 2-way: two alternative messages using red and green illumination to indicate different safety or operating conditions
A 2-way sign can, for example, display a green message when an area is safe to enter and a red warning message when the laser is active.
Custom Messages and Symbols
Lasermet provides both standard messages and customised wording and graphics, allowing the signs to be configured according to the function and communication requirements of the installation.

- Room In Use / Room Available
- Lab In Use / Lab Available
- Do Not Enter

Other wording and symbols can also be produced for specific applications.
Automatic or Manual Switching
LED Mini Signs can be switched automatically by the laser installation’s safety or interlock system so that the displayed message reflects the current operating condition.
Lasermet also provides a separate 24 VDC Power Supply and Switch for manual operation, combining the power supply and switching functions in a compact unit.
Integration with Laser Interlock Systems
As part of a complete laser safety installation, the LED warning sign can be combined with an interlock controller, door interlocks, door locks and emergency stops. This allows the current laser status to be clearly communicated at the entrance to the controlled area.
LED Mini Signs are also used as components in several of Lasermet’s complete laser safety systems.
